Forest Pathway

“The journey never ends because we are always on the way.” Matthew McConaughey

“Although the world is full of suffering it is also full of the overcoming of it.” Helen Keller

I love words that speak to my heart and direct my emotional compass toward true north. We have all been walking difficult paths lately. Some of us have suffered great loss and hardship and some of us are just frustrated. I pray my messages have brought hope and my paintings have made you smile. Watercolors has been a way other than words, to express my heart. Beautiful melodies bring lyrics to life with more intensity than do the mere words. And a painting can convey a powerful message without using words at all.

A Soulful Path

I’ve always had a love affair with words. When overcome, my first reaction had always been to reach for a pen and pour out my heart. Now these days, I find myself reaching for my paintbrushes~

In my early twenties I found faith in Jesus and began my discovery of God’s Word. I love the wisdom, poetry, truth and hope that comes alive in the Bible. Regardless of who you are, what has happened in your life or even what you have done, God has made a way for us in and through the person of His Son, Jesus. It is a GIFT of grace, mercy, and redemption. There is nothing we can do to earn His love. But when we’ve come to the end of ourselves there He stands arms outstretched, waiting to receive and redeem us and walk with us on our unique life pathways.

“Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5,6
